렉싱턴한인연합감리교회의 2010년 모토는 “세상의 빛과 소금인 교회!”입니다.
예수그리스도를 토대로 성장에 힘쓰며, 참 제자도로 하나님의 형상회복에 참여하는 말씀과 성령이 충만한 성도들이 되고자 합니다.

하나님의 사랑과 공의가 온세상에 퍼져가도록 “하나님사랑, 이웃사랑”의 대계명(Great Commandment)과 “땅끝까지 복음을 증거”하는 선교의 대분부(Great Commission)를 성취하며 모든 족속으로 제자삼고 섬기는 새로운 한해가 되기를 소망합니다.

2010년에는 다음과 같은 것을 기대하며, 기다리며, 기도합니다.
하나님으로 인해 놀라는 해 (The Year of Surprise)!
말씀의 달콤함을 경험하는 해 (The Year of Sweetness)!
넉넉히 공급하시는 충만을 경험하는 해 (The Year of Sufficiency)! 

아름다운 켄터키 주, 렉싱턴 지역, 승리의 마을(니콜라스빌 Nicholasville)에 36에이커라는 축구장 12개가 들어가는 넓은 땅과 성전을 허락하신 첫 3년(2007년 5월-2010년 4월)은 기초를 놓는 기간이라 하셨습니다. 본예배당과 사택이 개조되었고, 친교실, 유아실과 교육관이 예쁘게 단장되었습니다. 푸드팬트리 집과 정원이 꾸며졌고 축구장이 만들어지고 있습니다. 

이제 두번째 3년(2010년5월-2013년4월)은 창고건물이 기도의 집/수양관으로 개조되어 사용되고, 어린이 놀이터와 커뮤니티센터의 틀이 완성되고, 하나님께서 우리교회에게 주신 열방을 섬기는 교회의 비젼을 이루어갈 비젼센터를 꿈꾸며 기도하고자 합니다.

The 2010 Motto for the Lexington United Methodist Church Serving All Nations is “Becoming salt and light in the world.”

We desire spiritual growth as we stand on the foundation of Jesus Christ. Through true discipleship, we become followers, filled with the Word and Spirit, restored to the image of God.

In hope of seeing the love and righteousness of God cover the earth, we strive to fulfill the Great Commandment to love God and love others and the Great Commission to be a witness to the ends of the earth and make disciples of all nations.

We pray and expect 2010 to be the year of:

•   Surprise through God’s Glory

•   Sweetness through God’s Word

•   Sufficiency through God’s Filling Grace

God told us that the first three years (May 2007-April 2010) would be a time of laying the groundwork of the church, within our community--Nicholasville (“village of victory”).

Over the past three years, we renovated our sanctuary and parsonage and refurbished our fellowship hall, nursery, and education wing. We planted new trees. We established a Food Pantry to reach out to those in need and we are building a soccer field to be used for fellowship and outreach.

As we look toward the next three years (May 2010-April 2012), we plan to renovate the abandoned church barn to be a house of prayer/retreat center, to expand our community center to teach Korean and ESL and to provide tutoring for kids within the community, and to complete the existing playground. We will continue to dream and build a vision center that will help accomplish God’s vision to serve all nations.
